Is it essential?
No, this is not an absolute essential document for every person with disability. However, if your child has a disability and doesn’t have medical insurance yet, it would be a great option to use this scheme offered by the government. It is a good idea to use this if your child also has comorbidities in addition to their disability. If your child requires medical care, health check ups and medical procedures often, this is a great way to ease some of the financial burden that comes with it.
