Build our Bridge

Twenty years since we started, we can no longer overlook our need for a space that lends itself to giving and getting the best of our professionals and those we serve (10,000 registrations and counting!). So we embarked on our most audacious project.
Cheer for Children

As a non-profit committed to nurturing and celebrating every child, our services are highly subsidised through sponsorships from people who share our vision of a world where every child is nurtured and celebrated. Cheer for Children, our child sponsorship programme, helps us reach children who are motivated and capable but need that extra support to unlock their full potential.
The Sethu Corpus

A healthy corpus enables us to concentrate on doing what we do best rather than struggle to fundraise just to keep the lights on month on month. Contributions to our corpus help us focus on our mission – to be a centre of excellence in child development, family-centred care and inclusion through interdisciplinary services, training, advocacy and research,– and maintain service quality and continuity no matter what eventuality strikes.
Sponsorships Make a Huge Difference

Ojas, 12, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, his family, like many others, struggled to come to terms with the diagnosis. Through Occupational Therapy sessions at Sethu, Ojas has made significant progress and now follows simple instructions, learnt to wait and easily transition between activities using visuals and a timer. With his family’s unwavering support and hope for his future, Ojas is gaining independence.

Rudray, 11, has been with Sethu since he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 10 months. His aqua therapy sessions with our occupational therapists have helped improve his mobility and coordination significantly. Rudray is stronger, faster, better coordinated and all round more independent in his daily activities.

Shivam 15, first came to Sethu when he was just 1 year old. Initially non-speaking, he gradually developed functional communication with his parents. Thanks to his sponsored Speech and Language Therapy sessions, Shivam now uses Alternative and Augmented Communication (AAC) to express himself more effectively. His progress has been transformative, and communicates in ways that were once unimaginable.
